Iceland - Receiving Songs in Icelandic?

Do Iceland even want to win Eurovision? Let's be honest. Every entry sung in Icelandic that they've sent hasn't done overly well. And look, both their second places come from two ENGLISH performed songs. Most notably, Yohanna - Is It True?

Iceland seem to be following in Portugal's footsteps; they want 40 years of participating and not a single win. Well, it's not something to be proud of, if I'm honest. Despite Eythor Ingi belting it out with "Ég á líf", they failed to score on the left-hand side of the board. (Oh well, they still beat Bonnie!) Nonetheless, I suppose there's still a chance. I mean, all of Serbia's best scoring entries are performed in Serbian (2007, 2012).

I guess it's a matter of:

-Will the song be catchy enough for people to overthrow the fact its Icelandic?
-Will the artist be appealing to watch?

Or..

-Is Iceland purposefully doing this?

Oh well...

Take a listen at "Is It True?", you'll understand why Iceland scored so well.
